2N/3D in a food forest

Aparna Rajagopal manages the Beejom Farm, in Ghaziabad (UP). It is 14 acres of vegetables and fruit plantations, with over 200+ varieties.

While there, take a break from the greenest greens you’ve seen to be with the animals too i.e. horses, donkeys, goats, geese and rare cow breeds. Beejom has a large family of the most loving dogs we’ve experienced.

Aparna has styled Beejom as ‘nature first’. In the heat bowl of Western Uttar Pradesh, a two hour drive from New Delhi, this is a major accomplishment.

This tour is intended as an intense culinary weekend where the goal is to connect with the land. Chef Alan has for long advocated that the next generation of chefs need to be a farmer first. The Weekend at Beejom is in that mould. With accommodation for 24, this itinerary is good for small groups to spend quality time among the gardens and then translate that directly to the plate.

Adding sparkle to a diamond, there are multiple kitchens at the Beejom Farm, from indoor modern to outdoor traditional set-ups. All kitchens are managed by the local people, very skilled in their cuisines.
